Be yourself, breathe it in, and let’s make some magic.

This isn’t just a photoshoot — it’s a feeling.

Forget the awkward poses and forced smiles.

Think of it more like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a camera in hand (and way too much love for capturing the in-between moments).

My approach is relaxed, playful, and full of movement.

We’ll laugh, we’ll chat, and you’ll probably forget the camera’s even there — until you see yourself through my lens and think,

“Wait… that’s actually me?”

I don’t want perfect. I want real. I want you.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

If this is your first time in front of a camera, breathe out — you’re in safe hands.

I know it can feel a little nerve-wracking not knowing what to do, but the truth is... you don’t have to do anything except show up as yourselves. I’m incredibly easygoing, and I promise there’s no stiff posing or awkward silences here.

Instead of telling you exactly how to stand or where to put your hands, I use movement-based prompts to help you relax, interact naturally, and enjoy the moment. Think of it like a date or a hangout — not a photoshoot. We’ll chat, walk, laugh, spin, play... and those real, unscripted moments are what make the magic.capturing you as natural as possible is what I love.

Here’s what you should know:
✔️ You don’t need to practice poses
✔️ You don’t need to be “photogenic”
✔️ You don’t need to stress about the kids being wild or your partner feeling camera shy — I work with all of it, gently and naturally

What to Bring
Yourselves — that’s all I truly need!

Optional: a blanket, hat, bouquet, or anything that tells your story

If it’s a family session, feel free to bring a favourite toy or snack for the little ones

Above all, I want this to feel easy, fun, and memorable — a little pause in your day to slow down and soak each other in. We’re capturing more than smiles — we’re bottling up connection, love, and laughter.

I can’t wait to photograph you. Let’s make something beautiful. 🤍

What should I wear?

When it comes to outfits, I always say: comfort first, personality always — but if you're unsure, here's a little guidance to help keep things cohesive and beautiful.

I naturally lean toward soft, muted tones — colours that feel calm, timeless, and blend effortlessly into the background without clashing or distracting. Think:

🤍 Neutrals – beige, stone, grey, white
💙 Cool tones – denim, navy, soft light blues
🌿 Earthy hues – khaki, olive, sage, burgundy, burnt orange

Avoid big logos or loud prints, as they can pull attention away from your faces and the connection we’re capturing.

If we’re shooting in the forest, I recommend keeping things very muted (think grey, khaki, denim), as the greenery can easily overwhelm more vibrant tones. If we’re shooting on the beach, you have a little more freedom — the sand and sea are naturally neutral, so most muted tones will look beautiful.

That said — it’s your shoot, and the most important thing is that you feel confident and like yourself. I’m always happy to chat through outfit ideas beforehand if you’d like some extra help!

How many pictures will I receive?

For a normal photoshoot you can expect between 80-120 photos

For weddings it ranges from 450-650

Are you available outside of East London

Absolutely! While I’m based in East London (Eastern Cape), I regularly travel for sessions and weddings across South Africa.

I’ve photographed in places like the Karoo, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Hogsback, and more — and I’m always excited for an adventure. Whether you're eloping on a mountaintop or planning a big family session in a new town, I’m 100% keen to travel.

Let me know your location and date — I’d love to join you wherever your story unfolds. 🌍📷

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings, as popular dates fill up quickly — sometimes a year or more in advance.

How long until we get our photos?

Weddings:
- 10-12 photos the night of your wedding
- 80 photos within the first month
- Full gallery delivered within 12 weeks

Lifestyle shoots: Around 2–3 weeks

How do you deliver the photos?

You’ll receive a beautiful online gallery via Pixieset. From there, you can view, download, share, and order prints with ease.

Do you retouch the photos?

I hand-edit every image in my signature style. I remove small distractions like blemishes or flyaways if needed, but I don’t do heavy Photoshop or body alteration — I believe in celebrating your real beauty.

Can we bring pets or props?

Absolutely! Pets, blankets, hats, flowers — anything meaningful to you is welcome. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan around it.
